Privacy Policy

Last updated: 1 October 2026

This policy explains what personal data LyricPrints collects, why, and what rights you have over it. LyricPrints Ltd (registered in the EU) is the data controller for this website.

What we collect

  • Account details: your email address and login information, if you create an account.
  • Order details: your name, email, shipping address and order history. Payments are handled by Stripe; we never see or store your full card details.
  • Design content: the lyrics, songs and preferences you enter to create a design, and the designs that are generated.
  • Messages: anything you send us by email.
  • Usage data: pages visited, device and browser type, approximate location, referring site and similar data, collected through cookies and pixels (see below).

How we use it

  • To make, ship and support your orders (to perform our contract with you).
  • To run your account and generate the designs you ask for (to perform our contract with you).
  • To send order confirmations and shipping updates (to perform our contract with you).
  • To prevent fraud and keep the site secure (our legitimate interests).
  • To understand how the site is used and improve it (with your consent, where required).
  • To measure and improve our advertising (with your consent, where required).
  • To meet tax, accounting and other legal obligations.

We don't sell your personal data.

Who we share it with

We share only what each service provider needs to do its job:

  • Stripe for payment processing.
  • Printful and its production partners to print and deliver your order.
  • Supabase for our database, accounts and backend.
  • Vercel and Cloudflare for hosting and image storage.
  • Resend to send order emails.
  • Google (Gemini) and fal.ai to generate design artwork from what you enter.
  • Google Analytics for site analytics.
  • Pinterest, and Meta (Facebook and Instagram) where enabled, to measure the performance of our ads.

We may also disclose data where the law requires it.

Cookies and tracking

We use these cookies and similar technologies:

  • Essential: keep you signed in, remember your currency and make checkout work.
  • Analytics: Google Analytics, which tells us how visitors use the site.
  • Advertising: the Pinterest Tag, and the Meta Pixel where enabled. These record visits and purchases so we can see which ads work and show our ads to people likely to be interested.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. You can also opt out of personalised ads in your Pinterest, Google and Meta ad settings.

International transfers

Some of our providers process data outside the UK and European Economic Area, including in the United States. Where they do, we rely on safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.

How long we keep it

We keep order records for as long as tax and accounting law requires (typically 6–7 years). We keep account data until you delete your account, and analytics data for up to 26 months. Everything else is deleted when it's no longer needed.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you have the right to:

  • see the data we hold about you, and get a copy of it
  • have it corrected or deleted
  • restrict or object to how we use it
  • take it to another service (data portability)
  • withdraw your consent at any time
  • complain to your data protection authority

To use any of these rights, email [email protected]. We'll reply within one month.

Children

This site isn't aimed at children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their data.

Changes to this policy

If we update this policy, we'll change the date at the top of this page. If the changes are significant, we'll tell you before they apply.
